You make our work possible!
Contributions support string music instruction and music performances in majority Native American and other underserved communities. $100 pays for 1/5 of the cost of a violin or 1/8 of a cello. $1,000 funds four days of teaching from one instructor. Violins cost around $500 and cellos around $800. Teachers are paid $250 per full teaching day plus mileage
We also accept donations of useable violins, violas and cellos. Volunteer opportunities abound for people with teaching experience or with interest in marketing, social media, and accounting.
Western Strings is a non-profit (501-c-3) organization registered with the IRS, the State of Wyoming and the State of Montana. Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
